I began keeping reptiles in 2001 with a leopard gecko. For five years I kept a variety of lizards. I decided in 2006 that I wanted to get a snake but I didn’t want anything common. I researched for over six months and decided on a carpet python. I ended up getting an adult male IJ from NERD at the NRBE in Daytona. Little did I know that snake would be the start of a hobby that would continue to this day.

Uwabami Reptiles Inc officially started in 2010. I wanted to have a business name so I could use it on forums. “Uwabami" means giant snake in Japanese and the Kanje character in my logo also means snake in Japanese.

I produced my first clutch of carpet pythons in 2016. My collection consists of Morelia, Liasis, Corallus, and multiple species of old world rat snakes. I have a lot a projects going and in the works. Very excited to see what we can accomplish in the coming years.
